Horror Opening Scenes
As my partner and I have chosen the genre of horror, I am going to be looking at five different horror opening scenes and analysing the conventions of genre. I am expecting to see conventions such as lighting, pace of editing, music and mise-en-scene. The films I have chosen are 'Scream', 'The Nun', 'Saw III', 'Insidious' and 'The Woman in Black'.
