Lighting Tests

I experimented using different lighting before filming my opening sequence, in order to see which would look best.

Day Light:


I thought that this lighting was most successful as although the lighting in horror films is usually dark, my opening scene would be of better quality and would focus more on creating suspense as you would not expect it to happen in the day time.

Dark Lighting:




I experimented by using the lighting from a street lamp to see if this would make the characters look more sinister to indicate genre, however as my opening scene was more about creating tension I thought that the day lighting would be more successful.
